Attensi gamified training solution, developed for mobile, 1hr15mins over 1 game to train players in supply chain best practises

Design

nonlinear & linear narrative design, visual scripting in proprietary language and tools, bug fixing, analysing playtest data and feedback

Writing

writing scripts, topic research, iterating in collaboration with senior designers/writers

There was a scoping call, I was brought into the Slack Channel, had 3 touchpoints over the week

Approach

I was brought on to support on someone else’s project - I was directed to create NPC dialogues by a senior simulation designer. I had a one week turnaround to create and iterate 5 dialogues.

Figma, Pixlr, Attensi Creator (proprietary scripting engine based on Unity), Jira, Agile, Slack, Teams, Confluence, Miro, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Simulation Director provided high level feedback, Project Manager kept project running to time and budget

Internal success from Sim Director scored at 7.5 (score threshold for success is a 6)

Reflection and improvement

It was fun getting quickly to grips with a completely new subject. It felt like my previous contract writing work - get in, get to grips with the materials and desired tone, get the work done, get out.
